2011年12月17日六级听力长对话第二篇属于商务类之谈判（negotiation）话题，场景词有run the campaign, trade fairs, specifications of the advertisement, initial proposal, fee, lose business, solution等。
man speaker和woman speaker为了达到自己的谈判目标，步步逼紧，所以对话节奏紧凑，思路清楚。以woman speaker的一段为例，“Well, can we summarize the problem from my point of view? First of all, the campaign was late. It missed two important trade fairs. The ads also did not appear into key magazines. As a result, the campaign failed. Do you accept that summary of what happened?” 她以一般疑问句的形式开头，提出论点，即“summarize the problem”；接着用“First of all”和“also”来分述论据；最后以“as a result”收官，并且再次以一般疑问句的形式向对方发出挑战，“Do you accept…?”
问题设置的方式亦按照原文的谈判思路，即提出问题、分析问题和解决问题的流程。在对话首尾部分，皆出现考点，比较容易把握。
