主讲人简介:Chengri Ding is an Associate Professor of Urban Studies and Planning and director of the Chinese Land Policy and Urban Management Program,co-sponsored by the University of Maryland and Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. He earned his B.S. from Beijing Normal University, M.S. from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in regional planning. Ding is also directing the Chinese Land Studies Program in the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. One element of the program is to provide assistance to Chinese officials and scholars in designing and implementing land policy instruments and urban management tools such as land/property taxation and UGBs to address issues and challenges emerging in the rapid transition toward a market oriented system.
