东南大学-世界建筑史教学与研究国际研讨会

世界建筑史是人类建筑文化的结晶，既总结着过去的业绩，也展示着现代的成就，它已成为开阔人们思想与视野的重要路标，并且是当代建筑创作的思想源泉，因此了解当代建筑史的新观点与研究的新方法，探讨成功的教学经验与教学改革的新模式已成为各校的迫切要求。本次国际会议正是为了适应这一要求而进行的一次尝试，目的是为了互相交流，形成共识，共同提高教学与研究水平，以满足日益发展的社会要求。

2、各校外国建筑史课程教学计划交流、教学经验与教学改革探讨

The International Symposium of Teaching and Research of Architectural History

In middle of November, there will be an International Symposium of Teaching and Research of Architectural History (ISTRAH), held by China National Architectural Education Boarding and Southeast University. The theme of this symposium is to promote the international collaboration on teaching and research in this area and to give historical guidance to education and practice in this new era.

There will be about 12 keynote speakers to present their research in this symposium. They could present what can represent their best interests and achievements. The themes could be, but not necessary as follow:
1 New development in the teaching and research in architectural history and research
2 Methodology in architectural history and theory
3 Exchange of experience and achievement in teaching and research, such as teaching plan, reading materials, renovation
