　　The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers A and B shares, was up 21.16 points at 2,646.81.
　　The Shanghai A-share index gained 22.27 points, or 0.81 percent, to 2,778.55, while the Shenzhen A-share index rose 0.68 points, or 0.07 percent, to 927.15.
