语调 语调是指说话时声调的高低变化。英语中最主要的两种语调就是降调和升调。降调用于肯定的语句、命令以及特殊疑问句，具有一种完整和结论性的口气。 (1)一般陈述句。例如： This book is a novel． She doesn ‘t like it at all． (2)特殊疑问句。例如： Where did you go? What’S wrong with you? (3)表示命令的祈使句。例如： Be on time． Don’t go out of the door! (4)感叹句。例如：What a nice day! HOW beautiful it is! (5)反意疑问句。前面陈述句的内容是明显的事实，后面的问句只是表示客气，以引起别人的注意，或者说话者觉得自己的话是对的，期望得到别人的同意。例如： It’S a nice day，isn’t it? You came this moming，didn’t you? 升调用于一般疑问句和一切表示怀疑的语句，具有一种非完整性的口气。 (1)一般疑问句。例如： Do you like sports?
