In Pakistan, the former opposition party has come to power, as President Pervez Musharraf swore in a new cabinet of members opposed to his polices.
This overdue formation of the cabinet saw 24 ministers given the oath by Musharraf in the country s capital of Islamabad.
The ceremony came after Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gillani won a unanimous vote of confidence from the National Assembly on Saturday, and unveiled a 100-day program of his government s priorities.
More members are expected to join the cabinet soon.
