记句子主干单词的前两三个字母，主干单词具有不可替代性，包括主语，动词，名词实词，有选择的记笔记。英语中的实词具有表意功能，而虚词多具语法功能，所以记词应以实词为主。

Very few people can get a college degree before 11, but Michael was an exception. He started high school when he was 5, finishing in just nine months.
