1. A glance at this letter
这种句型必然要使用倒装，而不该用"as long as you ... or if you ..."。在部分倒装的句子中，只把谓语的一部分（如情态动词、助动词、或是系动词be）放到主语的前面去，构成倒装语序。will convince you前面的应该是一个整体，a glance at this letter这里是作一个名词性从句作主语。

2. in the way stand in the way是标准的“挡路”的英语表述。当时中学的时候还特意记下了一个句子来调侃的：Don’t stand in the way or I’ll knock you flat!别挡路，否则打扁你！呵呵～

3. If exposed to the airbe exposed tobe exposed to 遭受, 暴露于...这是一个固定的用法哦！

4. Shocked at what he had heard 这题两个翻译的点在于：“震惊”和“听到的事情（过去完成时）”，只要这两点翻译出来基本就可以。shock/astonish/surprise……另外就是had heard。

5. rather than regret for the past 这题相对比较简单，大部分沪友都能正确地翻译出来。可以用rather than/not to等来表示转折，后面统一都是用regret for the past.
