同义辩析：flock,herd, swarm这组同义词的一般含义是“群”
flock用于表示同类的鸟群，或动物群，特别是羊群；在用于表示人群时，指人数众多的人群.
Vistors came in flocks to see the new bridge.
参观者成群结队地来观看这座新桥。
herd 表示生有角质蹄子的动物，如牛或鲸鱼等的“群”.
There we saw herds of cows grazing on the pasture.
